I'm sorry - another Urban Dead centered post.

http://iwrecords.urbandead.info/12-20-09_1600hrs_PUBLIC/IN_50-97_1337_268-674-4e9.html
I am so happy because of the link you see above this. And this, with the very same character that got 666 experience points.

I'm also moving up; In 404 I am co-ordination leader, and in AU10 I am backup leader. :3

Today, back to the real world, was really cold. Despite the warming effect of my ga Hazel, it was still an uphill battle not to burst into shivering.
I had 87p, which wasn't enough to buy anything from Poundland, so (in what I like to think was) a form of protest, we stood underneath the heater.
Got 2p from Hazel's friend (Hayley, Kaeley?) and bought some cookies from Leslie. He's a funny guy. I had to curb my enthusiasm, due to... mitigating circumstances.
Spent ~1 hour sitting in the café, listening to endless stories about people who I don't know, before Morrisons had to shut. Then we stood around in the cold (made slightly warmer by the embrace, pretend I'm shaking my fist at you for using me for warming purposes.) for around half an hour, before heading off home again.

And, well, that's about it. I also really like the song Reach for the Sun.

ALSO!; (in a tone of voice which denotes I don't know everything about it, but think my opinion should be taken into account) I think you should all (disregarding who I think is in the right or not) swallow your pride or whatever it is holding you back.

Oh how I love my innovation

Because I had two items of homework in for tommorow that I couldn't complete due to either my ignorance or my teachers ignorance, I had to do some thinking. Thanks to my darling Dan-GAY-vien (Or O-LAG), I managed to get my ICT done, and if I do say so myself, it looks pretty darn great.

History is another matter, however. I just wrote out everything I had talked about the first time I did it, but for two paragraphs for each point. Hope that quenches her thirst for development, as it did mine for exuberance. And by that I mean it drained me of all motivational aspects of History, or in fact anything to do with Humanities whatsoever.

Now, I have done nothing to fundraise. Nothing at all. So I hope to make posters for the fundraising, consider me your PR man. Mainly due to the fact I have little to no idea of fundraising nor how to implement it, but I do know how to make a poster or two. C'mooooon brainstorm!

I found something new, and I broke something old.

Well, this post is really for yesterday, but I was too busy smarting from my wonderful day with Hazel to really get anything done. :) -- I have a dislike for the word "mute" now, because it reminds me of the opportunity I missed. :/ --

On Saturday, I rediscovered how great my iPod is. I also discovered that I CAN use it regularly, rather than when I'm travelling somewhere. But on Sunday after making me some pasta (Which was rather quite delicious, thank you) I broke my fridge door off. Oopsie.

But it's fine, it only took us around half an hour to fix it. Which should mean nothing is going to disease us.

Oh, and I went to a World Challenge meeting, and we got lots of new ideas. It's gonna be great fun. I have to, or rather I decided it would be optimal to, devise some publication for the developments. It would help if I could recall one of the primary activities we're partaking in.

Well, I think that's about it, tschüs!

Google, Dr. Jelly and Mr Kyle

The picture you see above you is today's topic. This afternoon, I helped Prep, of Fortress infame, make #party the best party of December! It was to celebrate Jelly finishing her exams, and BP (Michaleson)'s birthday. As an aside, happy 16th, BP! Well, we were having a wonderful time, with ops all around, and then H Karl came online, so he joined in with the fun.

Now, kids, before tell you this part, remember never to try this at home.

Kyle decided to de-op everyone, and then he went on a rampage -- for great justice, of course -- and keeledA everyone in the room. It was a sad time for all, especially me, sitting there with my puny Half-op not being able to do anything.

And then he gave up, gave DT ops, and lefZt to go get drunk. I think that was an escapade that ended happily for all.

Also, tEoday I discovered Google Wave. It looks amazing, but there's no-one for me to use it with. D:. PLlease help a poor, innocent, starving child have a little fun on Wave?

That there is my Ukulele. I am truly, truly, truly sorry that it is a JPEG, but nothing could be done. What you see to the left of this paragraph is the starting point (well, not exactly, but near enough) of my journey which I'll detail here for you.

This term, I signed up for something called
World Challenge. In short, I am going to Vietnam for a month in the Summer of 2011. It'll cost me £3, 545. (With a little more added on for things that aren't important.) This may sound a lot, and it is.

So, in true someone-who-has-no-idea-how-to-fund raise style, I learnt to play the Ukulele. (Which I received for my birthday a few years ago, but never bothered to learn.) Obviously this detracts from Hazel time. As does writing this blog, but don't worry, I intend to get in there some more when I'm finished. Hazel being the (amazingly amazing) person who "inspired" me to write this blog.

Now, whether or not I learn how to play the ukulele, I am still plagued by this question:

How am I going to make this money?
With über ukulele powers, I have no idea how I'd make any more money. I plan to busk, or something like that, but have you ever seen a busking ukulele player? I should think not. But then again, seeing someone playing the ukulele would be amazing to most people, who have no idea what it is. Of course, I'm assuming that amazement = money. This may not be true for real life.

Without über ukulele powers, I could fund-raise old-style. Sponsored X, Y and Z. And boot sales. Getting a part-time job. (This might be applicable for ukulele powers also.)

I'll get back to you on that one,
Rory
